Dr. Jason Young has been practicing general dentistry in Marietta since 2002. He grew up in the area and had the privilege of working with his father who was a general dentist in Marietta for 42 years.
Dr. Young graduated from The Ohio State University in 2002 and lives in North Atlanta with his wife and has 2 adult children.
In addition to working private practice, Dr. Young has served in the United States Air Force Reserve Dental Corp since 2011, and is currently serving at JB Charleston, SC fulfilling his duties as a reservist.Outside of work, his hobbies are traveling with his wife and spending time with her and their adult children. Dr. Julie Tanner is a Georgia native and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Class of 2001. She is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care while building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients.
Dr. Tanner believes that creating trust, comfort, and open communication allows patients to genuinely enjoy their dental experience. For many years, she has been an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, as well as the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
Her passion for serving others extends beyond the office, including participation in a dental mission trip alongside her daughter, who hopes to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Tanner enjoys walking and working out with friends, gardening, and spending time with her husband, their daughter and son, and their two dogs.
Dr. Lily Bock brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to our East Cobb dental practice. A proud graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2002, Dr. Bock has built her career on a foundation of gentle, patient-centered care.
Dr. Bock is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in a comfortable environment. She believes in a conservative approach to treatment, focusing on minimally invasive, effective solutions while treating every patient as if they were her own family. While she excels in general family dentistry, Dr. Bock particularly loves performing cosmetic dentistry, using her skills to help patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles. She also strongly believes in patient education, empowering individuals with the knowledge needed to maintain proper dental care at home.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field, Dr. Bock rigorously pursues continuing education and maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bock cherishes time spent with her husband, their two sons and daughter, and their two sweet dogs, Biscuit and Maple. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and reading.
Dr. Hemakshi Patidar was raised in South Georgia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia and completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
Dr. Patidar joined Young & Tanner in April 2024, bringing a passion for creating healthy, beautiful smiles. She provides comprehensive dental care, including crowns, fillings, implant restorations, removable partial dentures, and clear aligner therapy. She values Young & Tanner’s long-standing relationships with generations of patients and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere of the practice.
Compassionate and gentle by nature, Dr. Patidar takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with her husband. They also have a mini Huskimo dog who loves tagging along on their adventures.
